How to Be Happily Married – marriage skits by Red Skelton, followed by an absolutely hilarious demonstration by Clem Kadiddlehopper of stuffing a turkey!
How to Be Happily Married – The Red Skelton Show season 3, broadcast November 17, 1953
Monologue
At the end of Red Skelton’s monologue, Red does a short skit with Randy Stewart, demonstrating how a husband reacts to his wife’s announcement that she’s expecting their first child — versus the same announcement about their sixth!

How to be Happily Married

In How to be Happily Married, Red plays the part of Wilbur the Happy Husband. He and his wife start the sketch actually being happily married. Until his wife mother-in-law hear a radio psychiatrist, who says that the true path to happiness for married couples is — hobbies! And so, the entire family engages in a bevy of hobbies to the point of excluding everything else — including marital bliss. Until someone assaults that radio psychiatrist! With the family soldering iron.
Clem Kadiddlehopper stuffs a turkey

I’ve often seen other clowns stuffing a turkey — Curly Howard in An Ache in Every Stake, for example. But Clem Kadiddlehopper’s version here is absolutely hilarious! I love the prop humor of Clem stuffing his arm all the way into the turkey!
